Rob McCaffrey

Rob is recognized in both Britain and the Gulf as a leading football TV presenter. In the UK he presented shows such as Goals on Sunday, You’re on Sky Sports and Soccer Special.

In 2007, Rob was signed up by Showtime Arabia to present their English Premier league coverage. Rob has also been nominated for a Royal Television Society award for his documentary that featured Liverpool’s tour to South Africa and included an interview with Nelson Mandela.

Derek Whyte

Derek Whyte is a former Scottish footballer who played for Celtic, Middlesbrough, Aberdeen and Partick Thistle. He has also won twelve caps for Scotland during his 18 year playing career. He participated at Euro 92, Euro 96 and the 1998 FIFA World Cup.

Derek joined the Showtime Sports network as a full time pundit to add his expert analysis to their coverage of the English Premier League.

Peter Reading

Peter “Geordie” Reading is a well connected long term resident of Dubai and has been involved in several successful sporting and non-sporting events. Peter’s broadcast career started with various sports shows, where he co-hosed sports discussions and phone in shows. Besides broadcast experience, Peter brings a wealth of public relations experience to Soccer Saturday, plus his own football knowledge as a long suffering Newcastle United fan.
